Every year I offer a 4-session class on the life and journeys of Fr. Marquette through College of DuPage Continuing Education. We retrace Marquette’s steps throughout the Great Lakes and Mississippi regions, highlighting his encounters and friendships with regional Native American tribes along his route. We also examine his cultural impact on 19th-20th century American literature and art.  One discovers that Marquette is all around us!
